Aus paydirekt und giropay wurde eins: das neue giropay.

Wherever the new giropay logo or the combined giropay/paydirekt logo is displayed, you can confirm your purchase with the giropay app.

Easy online payment at your fingertips:

• Simply choose giropay as your payment method at checkout, without the need for a username and password.
• Select the "Pay with giropay app" button or scan the QR code from your computer screen.
• Log in to the paydirekt app with your fingerprint or PIN and authorize the payment. It's that easy!
• To use this feature, you need to verify the app once. You can do this using your bank's TAN procedure, just like with online banking or your banking app.

Send and request money from friends and acquaintances:

• Select the recipient from your contacts list, use emojis as a reference, and send money to an email or mobile number.
• And the best part is, you can also receive money even if you're not a giropay user!

Stay informed about your online purchases at all times:

• Clear display of your giropay payments
• Receive notifications for each transaction

One-click payment in the future:

• In many shops, you can set up giropay as your payment method for future payments. You only need to confirm this authorization once through the giropay app.

Complete security with giropay:

• The giropay app communicates exclusively through verified interfaces and ensures secure data transfer according to German online banking standards.
• Access to your online banking account is not possible through giropay, as all data is encrypted and stored on your device.
• Your data is also stored in German data centers certified by banks and is subject to strict German data protection laws.
